Coalition to Save Beauty Salons & Barber Shops
Petition to Councilman Ydanis Rodiguez and
              Brooklyn President Eric Adams

The Majority of our Small Businesses Cannot Survive Without Government’s  Immediate Intervention!
A plea to call for an emergency vote on
Small Business Jobs Survival Act today!

To CM Rodiguez and President Adams: We appeal to you to save our futures and save our American Dream by supporting a vote today on the Small Business Jobs Survival Act, Jobs Survival Act.   The majority of businesses cannot survive after the coronavirus crisis by going back to face a decade long unresolved small business crisis that was destroying them. The passage of the Jobs Survival Act will give every business owner a fighting chance to survive when their leases expire and a real hope to restore their American Dream.
The Jobs Survival Act is the only real lifeline to save our businesses. This bill is the only hope for our businesses to survive, be profitable, save and create jobs and have a future in NYC. The Jobs Survival Act would give all our small business owners what they need to remain in business in NYC.  Every business must have the right to renew long term 10 year leases, equal rights to negotiate fair lease terms that allow a reasonable profit, and protection from rent gouging and being forced to pay their landlord’s property taxes.
When will the futures of our city’s immigrant family owned small businesses “matter” to the Democratic leadership? The immediate vote on the Jobs Survival Act will show that
CM Rodriguez and Brooklyn President Adams really care about saving the American Dream for our city’s immigrant families.
Discrimination and denial of economic justice against immigrant owners must end!
Study of immigrant owners showed 83% cannot survive without rights when leases expires.   https://www.savenycjobs.com/2021-immigrant-business-survey

The future survival of our businesses and jobs is in your hands!
