Withdraw support for Mamdani

As the last and only true voice for the rights, justice and welfare of our city’s small business owners and their workers, we are changing our choice for Mayor.

Recently we sent a notice to all that the only real choice for Mayor was Zohran Mamdani because he was the only real hope to stand up to the real estate oligarchy who controlled our city’s economy. An economy where the American Dream of our small business owners and their workers did not matter.

It was brought to our attention that we were wrong in our belief in Mamdani standing up to big real estate, and that we had been fooled by him. As proof, this person emailed us the “word for word” statement made by Mamdani at the last Mayoral debate to prove beyond any doubt that Mamdani, if elected Mayor, would in fact keep the city’s economy in the hands of the real estate oligarchy.

This is Zohran Mamdani’s statement made, “I will hire the best and brightest, because for to long we have an understating of leadership where you simply replicate each one of your ideas and hire people who will be the quickest say yes to whatever you say to them. I will hire the people that have the track records the excellence and fluency. And it has been a pleasure to meet with incredible officials like Maria Torres Springer who has delivered that public service and public excellence.”

Maria Torres Springer is the most anti small business owner, especially anti immigrant owners, ever to hold public office in NYC. She was hand picked by the real estate oligarchy to deny any economic justice and rights to desperate business owners fighting to survive in business. She played a key role in preventing any honest hearings to find a real solution to stop the closing of businesses when their leases expireded and the owners had not rights. Under her watch NYC was the ONLY MAYOR CITY in America with an “empty store blight crisis.” Under her watch every major city’s local main street economy recovered from the recession while every main street in NYC was throwing out long established successful businesses that had been thriving and creating jobs. Under her watch, many once thriving businesses remained empty for sometimes years, even on busy shopping streets.

She was hand picked by two administrations for one purpose, keep the city’s economy under the control of the real estate oligarchy. To do this she had to orchestrate political theater in all the city’s agencies to pretend that the administration cared about the welfare and futures of our small business owners and their workers. The truth is she would only promote and protect the profits of the real estate fat cats who helped put her in office. She would only have the real estates shills: BIDS, Chambers, SBS, EDC, and other funded groups all cover up the city’s small business and empty store blight crises.

As an honest voice for all NYC business owners we must withdraw any support for Mamdani. The reason is obvious, if he wins as Mayor and appoints Maria- Torres Springer and other real estate loyalist then the real estate oligarchy will continue to control our city’s economy. NYC will NEVER be affordable for working families under this real estate oligarchy economy! Under Springer and other real estate loyalists influence, the slow destruction of the American Dream for countless business owners and their workers will continue unabated.
